Straight Dental Root Elevator with Ergonomic Grip

The medical instrument shown in 20.jpg is a straight root elevator, a fundamental tool in oral surgery for loosening teeth prior to extraction. It consists of a large, rounded white handle designed to provide the clinician with maximum leverage and comfort. The thin, tapered stainless steel shaft leads to a specialized concave tip—highlighted in the inset “A”—which is used to sever the periodontal ligament and expand the alveolar socket to facilitate the safe removal of the tooth.
